What is the best/ most popular blog site in the UK?

I want to start a blog which will be visible to as many people in my city (oxford) as possible. any ideas?

I have found that there is a huge UK contingent on LiveJournal.... I have a blog there myself and you can actually search by location, so people from Oxford may well already be talking as part of a community, I know there was a well established Manchester community when I first started posting
