I'd say without a doubt that it has to be either Deicide or early Carcass!! My fave Deicide track has to be Carnage in the temple of the damned... for the groove!! Mr Benton is ace!! Carcass... i can't decide. The obvious choice would be Corporeal Jigsore Quandary, but that whole album is class (It's also a plus that i'm mates with Jeff Walker too!!)
Oh and ya can't beat a bit of Suffocation too (not in a pervy way before you ask you non metal ppl reading this!!) :-)
I could go on for aaaaaggggggeeeesssss!!!
Ooh parting shot.... Cannibal Corpse... anything form when good old Chris was there... especially Tomb of the Mutilated!!!

Early Metallica - Whiplash (from Kill 'em all) is quality. In fact the whole album has an urgency not seen in a lot of bands these days. Otherwise Pantera - Becoming tends to hit the spot for me...

Early Napalm Death (circa the 'scum' album) not only fit the question but they have more intelligent lyrics than some others. My favourite song is 'instinct of survival' which contains the lyric 'Multinational Co-oprations take their profit from starving nations, another product for you to buy and you'll keep paying until you die'
