One clue is that issue 25 is the beginning of a 9 issue story arc. If you were to look at all the deaths of superheroes in comics, I would be surprised if even 40% of them were permanent deaths of the actual character, and not a doppelganger, hologram, group hypnosis, frame-up or later resurrected in some way.

There is absolutely no doubt that they will be bringing him back. Most superheroes have gone through some version of the death and ressurection chronology. It's a prize method of pumping up interest in a sagging character.
In fact, 'Death' in comicland functions more like Death in the tarot. A symnbol of a radical transformation or change in direction rather that a permanent cessation, which is why ressurection arcs are frequently used to intrduce a radical change in a character... In fact some have had it trotted out on several occasions. Superman has risen from his grave almost as much as Dracula. And how many times (in how many different ways?) did they bring back Jean Grey? (phoenix from x-men)
Just ask yourself Is Marvel stupid enough to discard its' most famous, iconic, and enduring (since ww2) character? Yeah right and they are 'really' going to kill Superman in whatever the next 'Death of Superman' continuity looks like.

He'll stay dead for a the rest of this year. Then they will bering him back in time for them to release The Captain America movie they are making. which is supposed to be released late 2008 ,early 2009 ish. No one in comics ever stays dead for long. I think the only charater to have not come back is Uncle Ben from Spider-Man. All the rest of them are revived at some point in time.

confident, i think of that ask your self will deliver him lower back. i've got faith that they are remodeling his character like DC did with Superman and how DC replaced the Flash after the visual reveal unit replaced the universe and the time line. Captain u . s . a . of america became a liked character and so as that they may be installation for a huge creation after the action picture has been regularly occurring.

He was shot in the stomach. I don't think he's dead. I think it's hype, but next month will see him in critical condition, or something similar (coma).

I'm sure he'll be back in the not so distant future. Afterall, nobody ever truly dies in comics or soap operas!
