The lag problem on WOW is not due to poor graphics cards or processors, it is due to a poor Internet connection. Don't replace your computer if you don't have to.

The actual game of WOW is not all that demanding on systems and can be run with a relatively low end system as long as you are using a decent NIC card. (Core 2 duo is unnecessary and 4 gigs of ram is a huge waste of money if you only plan on playing WOW)

THINK before you waste over a thousand dollars when all you might need to do is upgrade you broadband service or NIC card. 100 dollars vs 1000.

Hi. W.o.W is a tough game to play with NO lagging, I have read. Any computer you order should have the best graphics card you can afford, even if you can't afford it! Next is RAM, again the best, fastest, and highest amount that will fit in the box. The CPU will almost certainly be dual core and faster is better. Oh, and fans...lots of fans. That will get you started.

Should do it...

If not, hit customise and just upgrade things until you can't afford it anymore...

My recommendations : 2 gig of ram (4 if you can stretch - RAM is quite cheap)

The best graphics card you can afford as a general rule. Just go for geForce, the highest number you can afford with GT on the end of the name... easy

Processor - well any core 2 duo processor around at the moment should do it... few processors would struggle now.

Have you thought about your internet connection? That plays a big part aswell - what speed do you connect at?

I build custom PCs - contact me for a quote. The stability I have from my own systems as well as my clients is phenomenal not to mention the in depth knowledge you gain to troubleshoot your own HW.

I cant garentee no lag, but here is a good one, I have it and I like it, of course I took off a few perks (i removed the printer, the added copy of WoW and the flash drive) http://www.gateway.com/shopping_cart.php

Expensive as hell sorry about that.
