i just had that this past sat...i was walking around the mall and had sharp pains on my left side and they went away when we finally got into the car and sat down..and im assuming it is over working your body..you figure you have alot more weight on you with the baby and all..and plus your almost 30 weeks so the baby starts to drop lower and lower ..so that will also put pressure down there...good luck and congrats..

Don't panic. The pain went away when you stopped what you were doing so it was obviously caused by what you were doing. Chances are it's because you haven't been active. I was on bed rest for a long time with my youngest. Every time i would walk to the bathroom i had pain in my back, sides and abdomen. None of the muscles were being used regularly so when i would get up i would ache. The walk from the car the the dr's office was enough to make me wince.
Mention it to your doctor at your next visit. Don't stop walking. The excercise is great for you and the baby. During my first pregnancy i walked on average 10 miles a day, stopping whenever i needed to and i looked great after i delivered.

I just finished my college coursework for my 2 year degree (wanted it done before the baby got here) and one of my courses was aerobic walking. We'd go 1-2 miles a day. I noticed more and more towards the end of the course (I participated while being 6-8 months pregnant) i'd get the exact samet hing-- a cramp in the right side, sort of on the 'bottom side' of my big round tummy. At times I'd almost have to walk as slow as a turtle or it became uncomfortable.
I think its normal-- it always went away and I'm now 36+ weeks.

Toward the end of my pregnancy, I used to get that every single morning as I was walking from the train station to my office. Some days it was so severe that I thought something must be wrong, but the doctor assured me it's perfectly normal. It's the stretching of the ligaments as your uterus gets bigger, and the "bounce" of the walking movement makes it worse.
Best wishes for a healthy baby. :)

those cramps are component stitches and are led to by utilising ability of stretching the ligaments that delay from the diaphragm to the internal organs, above each and all of the liver. The jarring stream of walking for the era of respiratory in and out stretches those ligaments. Runners oftentimes tend to exhale each and each 2 or 4 steps. maximum women and adult males people exhale by way of fact the left foot hits the backside, although some women and adult males people exhale mutually as the appropriate foot hits the backside. Exhaling mutually as the appropriate foot hits the backside components bigger forces on the liver. So by way of fact the liver is dropping down the diaphragm will develop for the exhalation. that's understood this repeated stretching leads to spasms interior the diaphragm. you may supply up this cramping mutually as walking you recognize. while this occurs, you need to offer up walking and place your hand into the appropriate component of your abdomen and push up, lifting the liver particularly. Inhale and exhale gently as you push up.

Late in pregnancy I got really bad cramps while walking. I guess because the muscles are already stretched out, they cramp up easily. You might see about getting a support belt. they're made to take the weight off the front of your stomach and help your posture.
