Why do Republicans support a blank check for the endless war?

The only reason republicans support giving bush a blank check for his war is because they are not paying for those blank checks.

republicans just thrill at the thought of spending other people's money.

What more could you possibly ask? We don't know how long it will take(like little kids in the back seat). We want our boy and girls home too but it is their job and they have it to do(tell your boss you want your pay but you don't want to do the work you contracted for). We can not win if we do not fight( you let high school kids play football knowing they can be injured for life and for what reason?). You voted for it before you turned against it. The world believed there were WMD's, even the democrats. People die in war. Yes we would be worse if we left and so would they.

Do you really want deployed troops on the battle field not to have ammunition and equipment that works. It was democrat defunding of the military that put it in the shape it was in when we deployed. Now you want to watch them die to prove a point. By God I want some answers from you traitorous so called Americans!

The question is not a blank check.
Questions are good but to tie strings like peanuts and pork for a bill for the troops.
Than put a time limit on the troops is wrong.

Can you name me 1 war that this country was in when Congress gave a the president a dead line.

technically, it's not a war without a declaratino of war.

thus the president (or a certain fraudulent pretender thereof) does not have exclusive authority to deploy troops.

since the most recent public election saw the public elect people clearly opposed to this action, it's time for Republicans to honor the wishes of the American people. period.

Evidently.
Because, most of them will not be around when the next administration has to figure out how to pay for it. It's easy to write blank checks when you know you will not be held responsible for it.

If you're a conservative republican, sure. You do this while expecting a large tax break. Take the money from the poor, education, and health care. Sounds about right to me. This policy should be changing soon though as the democrats take more control of the situation, Thank God.

I am not sure what you mean. Congress always asks questions. Pick up a paper. As for sending money, why shouldn't Congress authorize funds for a war they voted for?

I think they do it to support troop morale. By telling them they will be there indefinitely it will keep their spirits up. Come on.

Yes, unless Congress supports the terrorists.
Remember how Democrats worried about the treatment of terrorist prisoners?
Democrats never worried about Americans being be-headed by terrorists.
