999 is the max level for chains in Final Fantasy 12.

Final Fantasy 12 and what is 99 (or 999, I don't remember how many (9's).
Of course it depends. By "Chaining" do you mean killing the same type of creature or do you mean like Combo Strikes?

first person is probably right.
Although I never chained 999, I did chain more than 100 so 999 sounds most likely.
by the way, the only way to get one of the rare marks is to chain kill 100+ of those guys running around the desert around the oil rigs.

i hope your talking about 12... lol FF 13 isnt out yet... i would hope the max chain was somehting like 99... i dont remember what my highest was... if it was higher.. then 999 .. the best place to find out is the lhusu mines
