My boyfriend got two DUIs within three years, and we want to travel to Sweden together during the summer to celebrate my graduation. I know Canada will not admit people with DUIs, but what other countries are the same way? Ideally, we want to go to any country in Scandinavia. We're both U.S. citizens. What countries prohibit DUI offenders from entering their country? He has no felonies, only 2 misdemeanor DUIs, and has finished with all the DUI conviction penalties.

If the countries you are visiting are in the European Union, they do not require Visas (just your US passport) and would not know of your background. If the countries are not in the Union, you will have to call their consulate here in the states and ask if a tourist Visa is required for entry (for instance I know India requires this). If a Visa is required then you can ask the requirements r.e. a background check.
