I am an Arsenal fan and I think he would, but I know they're a lot of people who think Wenger does not like playing british players.
So if Arsenal had a reserve on there books who was ready for the first team and was considered a "british kaka" would Wenger play him or sell him because he is not foreign?

BTW, I don't just mean English, I mean British (Scottish, Welsh, N.Irish or English)
And before you go Scottish or N.Irish o-O
Remember George best and Jimmy Johnstone

Yes. Any manager who had a player with the power and ability of Kaka of AC Milan and refused to play him would be an idiot.
Wenger does have a side that includes almost no British players. But I think this could be that either they are too expensive, or they have not been able to really give them a good chance to make their way.

Well I'm sure as heck he would put him on the team. Wegner has nothing against English folk. He just really likes the young talent from other countries that may be the future stars for their home country. In England young players are so competitive and have little teamwork (ahem...Rooney), also would you rather pick a bright young Brazilian star or a bright young English star. Most would say the Brazilian b/c they have done so well in the past it is expected that a young Brazilian making his way into football play extremely well and understand the level of success expected of him.

If they are good enough Wenger will play them, He brought some young and upcoming English players in the 2001 season but they didn’t do well, he goes for the foreign players because he gets value for money.

he would IF he was good enough, i hate all these people that say we dont sign Englishman.
If we want a middletable finish we will sign loads or if we want to spend stupid money (Carrick etc) then we would but when you get Fabregas for nothing and Kolo Toure for 200k it just makes sense!!
as Wenger says if he is looking at an Englishman or a Brazilian the Englishman needs to be better than the Brazilian to sign him. Sign the player not the passport.

Wenger has said over and over a players passport means nothing to him. If this player was good enough for Arsenals 1st team,he'd be in the team. No question about it.

Wenger has nothing to do with the players nationalities but what he cares about as a coach is their contribution to the club so if you don't play well it's obvious that you can not be selected.
Thanx!

I'm a Gooner too. I think he'd play a good British player. I'd like to see him sign Kris Boyd away from Rangers. He was awesome with Kilmarnock and is still awesome. I think he'd make a good compliment with Henry up front.

Haha a 'british kaka'. I don't know if such a thing exists, Kaka is one of a kind. But, with that said, I believe Arsene would put him on, if he really was great.
