people are most stuck on themselves? i'm from california, but currently visiting texas. and it's unreal here. everything on the radio, tv, or in person is texas is bigger, tougher, etc. don't even try to initiate a conversation about a subject that doesn't revolve around texas with someone here. they've got shirts, hats printed up with such slogans as "**** y'all i'm from texas"!!!!!! if you've done some travelling, have you encountered something similar to this in other places?

I've met people from texas who compare everything to texas as well. I think they're just very nationalisitc without a nation. kind of like how americans are perceived by the rest of the world.

To me it was Kentucky. They weren't high on their self, to me they are just rude.
