April 5th, ESPN already leaked some of the dates for some prime-time games. I know that Giants vs. Dallas in the third week was one of them, but not MNF.

Last year the the pre-season schedules came out in late March, with the regular season schedules coming out in early April.
The opening game has beeen set -- New Orleans will visit Indianapolis on Thursday, September 6, 2007. Also announced have been the doubleheader games for the opening Weekend (e.g. Monday night there are two games -- Baltimore v. Cinncinati, and Arizona v. San Francisco).

Opening Night Saints at colts was announced today, and schedules are being determined and should be out in the next 1-2 weeks

April 5th. Just on a side note the first weekend of the season has already been anounced on NFL.com with the Saints and Colts getting the first game of the season. Ravens at Bengals is the first Monday night game.
