That would be Madame Lesbos to you, Dearest...(snicker) sorry about that. I wear jeans, smocks, Henley and/or t-shirts, basically the same wardrobe I've worn for the last thirty years, because they're comfortable and because my jobs haven't required anything else. It's not that I want to look like a "boy" or a "man" it's because of comfort. I wear sneakers in boy's sizes because I have wide feet and with my arthritis I go for comfort not style....heels and women's shoes pinch badly. I despise pantyhose and girdles but love a good corset, and Victorian underwear (blame all those years as a historical interpreter at the State parks) whoohoo!
Fashion for Lesbians depends on the woman you ask. Never judge a Lesbian by the cover she keeps (snicker snicker.)
Bless you, my son, we want our partners to look lovely too, but our idea of lovely can and will be different from yours. (wink)

As another poster has said, it's about preference. I am a feminine lesbian and i'm attracted to women, period. If you look good, i'm attracted. Feminine or not...naked we all have the same parts and that's the whole point. Being a lesbian is NOT just about the physical. Im attracted to women and click with women on EMOTIONAL and MENTAL levels, that i cannot get from men. Which is why it doesnt matter if the woman i am with is more of a tomboy dresser (which she is), she still thinks like a woman, reacts like a woman, touches me like a woman, she IS a woman.
Hope that answers your question.

If you have a girlfriend that dresses as you describe then it would be personal choice. I do not know what your relationship is like but it is most likely she is not lesbian. Why not ask her if she would like a skirt and twin set for her birthday ?

we do it bcuz we like to wear cozy clothes.
and its up to everybody to chose the woman of her choice.
PS: there are women on this planet that wont allow any man, or manmade clothing industry to press them in a role.
remmeber the rainbow: there's all the colors between black and white, and so are the girls

"Sex" refers to what sex you are- your chromosomes, your genitals, your secondary sex characteristics (like body hair, voice, distribution of body fat, etc.).
"Gender" refers to how you act, on the scale from masculine to feminine- how you talk, dress, style yourself, behave, and otherwise present yourself as masculine, female, androgynous, or somewhere in between.
When we talk about sexual orientation, we're talking about what sex you're attracted to, not what gender. If you're a woman, and you like women, no matter how masculine she is, you're still defined as a lesbian. Because these lesbians don't want men- they don't like the male sex, only the female one- but they do like the masculine gender. They like the masculine gender on a female sex.
I hope that helps you understand. I'm a woman and I absolutely adore butch women. Feminine women simply don't do anything for me, and who knows why that is. Just like anything else- what governs what we like? Nobody can really say. It certainly would be more helpful if we had words in our language to describe attraction that took both gender and sex into account, but we don't. Suffice to say, if you like the same sex, regardless of how they look, you're still gay.

Lesbos is an island. You seem to have geography and sexuality mixed up.

Lesbos. That's a nice island, I hope to visit there some day. What does an island have to do with women's clothing?
