What is the earliest to get an amniotic test? That was the last message I posted everyone just commented about the test and if the doctor ordered it but noone gave me the answer I asked, how many weeks is the earliest you can get an amniotic test, please I only want to know the earliest date. I am not doing it but I am arguing with my mother because she wants me to get it done.. I would like to know how many weeks just that thanks guys I appreciate it alot

i was told 15 weeks but unless your over 35 or there is a problem don't just get one there is a one in 200 chance you could abort. are you going to abort if there is a problem or not because that would be the only reason you would need to know and the baby is probably just fine tell her to get up off your back you can't carry the extra weight your already pregnant

From what I have read 16 weeks
The doctor will not just order it as I said before. There must be a medical reason for getting it done

They can be done as early as thirteen weeks, but are normally done between 15-18weeks.
