I support same sex marriage.
:)
B/C I want to see my friends happy for life with their special loved one too!!!

Actually one of the reasons I'm not married yet is because I'm staging a personal nonviolent protest by not getting married either, until all people who wish to be married are allowed to become married then I'll re-think my stance on marriage again.

I don't really support it but I am not the one getting married to another of the same sex. It's not up to me or the government to tell people who they can and can't get married to. Churches don't have to sanction these marriages but the government shouldn't stop them from civil marriages.

I support new legislation that would allow for same-sex marriage.

I do not support the court's misinterpreting already existing laws/constitutions, like what the Massachusetts Court did.

I can see no good reason why civil authorities can deny same sex marriage. I have been to many same sex "commitment" ceremonies and I saw them as no different to a wedding. It is time that the law was changed.

Why not polygamy and polyandry too? Some would like to marry under age children. Where do you draw the line? If you do it, you would have to make legitmate EVERY Other Form of Marriage and cause anarchy. Why not go completely backward and become a tribal nation, where in some tribes different types of marriage are accepted? We are too sophisticated for such a sophomoric proposal. The only people that would profit from it are vote hungry politically correct politicians, lawyers and the marriage industry, that are NON Conformists. It's a ruse and a path to destroy American society. It is already being done in Europe and they want us to come on board to coincide with their laws! Don't be duped.

Why shouldn't we let them get married? That's what marriage is, two people who love each other, and the government shouldn't be able to control that. I don't know why it's such a big deal anyways. I mean, religious people might say it's defying God or something, but there's supposed to be a separation between church and state.

I support civil unions, I have some reservations about 'marriage' though. I will admit my belief about marriage is man and woman. I have no prejudice about it against gay people I have some gay friends and they know my position on it and understand.

Everyone should be able to have beneficiaries of benefits and estates. That I will say absolutely.
