Recently i slipped and fell on private property, i banged my head hard, this was 2 weeks ago, i now have diagnosed concussion.
I cannot work as i am getting dizzy spells, and headaches, and feel very weak.
I had a CT scan, it was normal but the dr said it could be some time before i feel well enough to return to work.
The property management have already accepted liablity as they should have salted the snow and have offered to pay my wages and any other medical costs.
Also they said they would settle a compensation claim for the concussion.
Currently they are seeking my medical history, i have spoken also to a lawyer who says i do have a case.
Property management have said i can settle now or wait until i feel better, i said i will wait.
Does anybody know roughly how much compensation one should expect? At this point i don't want to sign for anything even with lawyer.
Maybe somebody reading this knows of somebody who was compensated for mild concussion? If so can you tell me?

you should figure out what money you are losing due to their mistake and ask for that amount. seeking more is greedy and just adding to the negative lawsuits to get free cash culture that has been flourishing recently.

A year ago, I was struck by a car, had 2 broken bones, scrapes and bruises and a concussion. On bad advice from all of my friends, hired a lawyer. It took almost a year for him to get active on my case, and finally settled for $14,000. His charges were $5000. Go figure. If you can collect medical costs in full, as well as work-time lost money, plus a couple of thousand, go for it. Try and settle yourself, it will go faster and easier for you. Remember, lawyers cost a minimum of 33%, plus their expenses. Don't get greedy. Best wishes

My step-dad got hit in the head by a golf ball from a near by course. Got a concussion.
They paid his Dr. bills and 1k in pain and suffering.
It was like 1800 all together.
He kinda got screwed on the deal cuz he didn't get a lawyer.

Good Luck!

I am an old Brittish soldier who seen first hand the results of the holocaust at Belson and the sight of what I saw haunts me to this day.Beleive me there is not the slightest comparison of the conflict in Palestine today as what happened in the consertration camps all over Germany ,so may I suggest that the word Holocaust shoud be used in its propper context
