are we the only living planet in this whole universe, i personaly dont think we are, i beleive somewhere out there, there has got to be other life forms, but would i want to visit this planet. all this mumbo jumbo about the goverment hiding other life forms, mayb true may not, but if u where another lifeform from another planet or galaxy would u let one off ur own b captured by this world, i dont think so, but on the other hand, if i was from another place, i would abserve this world for a while, then turn & run like hell.

I think a lot of these answer are mistaking possibility for probability. It is possible there is life in the universe other than our own planet but is it probable? The exact chemical balances that bring about life are so rare that the chance of life occurring elsewhere is very slim. The other question you must consider is one of time. If the history of the world is a 24 hour clock then humans have only beenaround for a matter of minutes. If you then consider the age of the universe then it is extremely unlikley that we would be around at the same time as any other life forms. For our tehnological advances such as space flight to coincide with one another reduces the odds even further.
But hey that one persons opinion and after all faith is precious and though I may sound sceptical I'll be at the head of the queue if we ever do make contact.
Hope thats a little more fullfilling for you!

Nobody on this planet knows the answer to that question for sure...but it would be extremely naive of us to assume that we are the only planet with life on it....and let's hope that the other life forms are making a better job of it than a great deal of this planet's population are!

I believe that the fact we are a living planet, proves that there are other living planets out there. Because technically, we're a living planet to any other form of creation out there. We're proof that it's possible. The most certain aspect of this is that our technology has not permitted us to extend far enough out to contact other life. But that isn't my real concern.

now then, lets say this in a delightful way no, the photo voltaic gadget isn't alive it can seem as if they understand what their doing yet its all gravitational stress and the such transferring it around the sunlight, god or in spite of made it rigged it precisely suitable, there for, in the international, very few km faraway from its assigned positon could have devistating consequences on all existence in the international its solid to understand theres some thing accessible to save the photo voltaic gadget in structure

There are billions of planets just in our galaxy! The universe is teeming with life. Easy!

You see grass sprouting in a sidewalk crack... life is persistent ... it is the nature of our universe ... not an exception!

It can take any form, so be careful on other planets.

For now we don't have any proof of life beyond what we can see.

The universe is so massive that it is hard to believe that we are the only planet with life.

I believe that the laws of science might not apply past our current beliefs about the universe.

Number one, you need to practice your spelling. Number two, in answer to your question, on an engineering type WAG (Wild *** Guess) no, there are most probably other inhabited planets out there. The odds are in favour. Unfortunately as regards contacting them, we run up against e=mc2 (that's e= mc squared). But, hey, don't let that stop you! Go out there and invent a faster-than-light drive! You will also probably need to recruit Captain James T. Kirk et al, but this shouldn't stop you!

Does a bear **** in the woods? OF CORSE!! We are life forms! We are living! There might be another Elvis rockin out on Mars with an extra arm!! Who knows? Maybe there is another earth out there with other "living beings". But I can assure you we are not alone

We're the only planet that we know of with life. But, i also beleive that there has to be other planets with life out there. We can't be the only one out of the millions and millions of other planets.

Lol i wouldnt blame you for running!! sometimes i want to.

But to answer your question... there could very well be other life forms elsewhere. i mean who's to say that God made only us? like really who's to say that we werent just a mistake made by God? But since God is all forgiving and loving he decided to let us be. We're not perfect... so maybe God has made "the perfect being" elsewhere.
