I've read that women can consume an extra 300 calories while on their period...is this true?

So you're talking about 60 calories a day for about 5 days to equal 300? I really wouldn't worry about it. Hormone fluctuations can trigger hunger.

Not sure for a fact, but I know I'm a total pig the week before....I eat everything in site!

i don't know but i can tell you the week be and the 5 days of that i am a muchy person i;'ll eat everything in site and don't enter the room I'm in if you have chocolate or you better share. :)

They have the ability but they can also gain weight from it.
