As a rule, if you can catch your fingernail on the scratch as you run across it, you won't be able to remove the scratch. The toothpaste idea will work if it is a very slight scratch.

I'm really not sure about this, but I think toothpaste rubbed over the surface will get them out. Wont hurt to try anyway.

go to a automotive parts place and get the scratch remover that they use for auto windshields
