Yes! I was 120 pounds when I got pregnant and was 175 when I gave birth! I had to do some serious dieting and exercise to get back down to 120.

Yes and No. It depends on the person. Some people gain upwards of 60 pounds, and some people LOSE weight. Of course, it all depends on you and your body size before pregnancy. If you were overweight, or obese, doctors recommend trying to keep your weight gain under 10 or 15 pounds. If you are underweight, doctors recommend to gain anywhere up to 40 pounds.

Yes you gain weight when you are pregnant to help support the developeing life inside you. But dont worry it should come off later with a little exercise. and ealthy eating lol. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing..

of course you do! Most people gain anywhere from 20-35 lbs depending on your pre-pregnancy weight and if you are carrying multiples or not.
Only about 8lbs of that will wind up being baby weight, the rest is compiled of extra blood volume, your breasts grow, the womb and placenta carry extra weight, and amniotic fluid and extra water retention add to the total as well.

yes, most people gain when they are pregnant, unless you're already very overweight then you might not. Like my mother didn't with me. She actually lost weight because all she craved was ice!
