pregnant mollies and blue plattes????

i have mollies that are pregnant, how long are they pregnant before they give birth, and also i have blue plattes and they are also pregnant and i need to know how long til they give birth and what are the signs of labor...please please help cause i had a guppy give birth in the tank and i didnt take her out in time and the other fish ate some of the babies.

For both fish it's around 28 days. That's just an average though and it can vary by a few days, just like in humans. Signs of labor include the fish hanging around the bottom of the tank, hiding, not eating and it's belly becoming rather "squared off" instead of rounded.
