This is something every women goes through. Your mother went through the same thing. She should understand. Plus, she needs to buy you the products that you need to take care of it.
However, I am confused by your other questions. How old are you? You could buy the products yourself if you don't want to tell anyone.

Well all of this depends on whether or not you have a source of money to purchase the feminine products that you are going to need on a monthly basis from now on.
The one thing you can do is approach your Mom and just broach the subject casually by saying something like this "Mom, when I start to have regular periods (or menstrual cycles....whatever you are comfortable saying) will you be able to buy all the feminine napkins and/or tampons that I will need? They are kind of expensive....my friends were telling me". If she says "yes" then this is the time to just let her know that your periods started. You don't need to get into a big discussion and chances are she won't want to anyway.
Because every woman goes through this time of life, believe me , Honey, this is only a big deal to the young lady that it's happening to . Every other woman, (your Mom included), just find the whole topic to be a fact of life and nothing to get embarrassed about.

Well you need to buy maxi pads with wings and don't use inserted tampons because you can get something called TDD, uhm clean that area very thoroughly and you can opt to use baby powder don't panic though everything will be fine its a big change however its one step toward adulthood.
Change your napkin everytime you go tot the restroom or feel its not comfortable you dont want any embarassing leaks trust I've had my share not fun

Of course, you don't have to tell them at all, but this is nothing to be embarrased about, nor is it something you should feel the need to hide. You may be surprised with the response you get if you do tell your parents.
If you have questions though, there should be someone you can talk to - even if it's not your parents. You can save yourself a lot of heartache by making sure that you are not misinformed about what your body is going through.

get some tampons or pads and take care of it yourself if you don;t want them to know. Really not sure what you are talking about. Ibuprofen always helps me with cramps if they are a problem for you.

caaaaaaaaaaalmmmm dooowwwwwnnnnn.......... now, of course, you should tell your mom. i had to do it and i hated it, but you get through it fast.... now, do you have an older sister? if so tell her. or get into your mom's cabinet, steal some pads, and tell the school nurse at school or another trusted adult. tell any female adult or older person. truuusssst mee, it's a natural part of life and all women go through it, no use panicking...
welcome into the older world! it sucks! have fun!

Well you are going to use menstral pads so either you buy them, use your mom's or get your mom to buy them.
Other than that I don't really see why you should tell your parents. Though you probably should.
