When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results. Now you're advertising to an audience that's already interested in you. This is what adwords is and how it works!

Google Adwords allows you to run "google ads" on your own person website so that if someone visiting your site clicks on one of those ads, you get money for it..
ever noticed that "Ads by Google" box usually on the left or right hand side of a website..that's Adwords..

I'm pretty sure it's their advertising branch. You know how when you Google something, there are sponsored results on the top and on the side? I think it's that thing. Also, on some websites, you see "Ads by Google", so it could be that also.
