Out of Blacks Law Dictionary:

1. A condition or situation (such as a loud noise or foul order) that interferes with the use or enjoyment of property.
2. Loosely, an act or failure to act resulting in an interference with the use or enjoyment of property.
3. The class of torts arising from such conditions, acts, or failures to act when they occur unreasonably. (Torts =civil complaints)

There are several different types of nuisances listed as well, but I'm not going to type them all out. lol.
