NO it's normal to loos some at the end. You should look into changing your Dr. You should be comfortable with the Dr. that is important.

body weight during pregnancy tends to fluctuate greatly. You may have been retaining fluid during your last weigh in. If you are stressed - this is not good for yourself or the baby. During this stage of pregnancy it is really important that you relax as much as possible and eat a balanced diet. Plenty of protein, fresh fruit and vegetables and carbs. You should be resting for at least an hour a day. The best thing you can do is listen to your body. When you feel tired - rest. It is also extremely important to have a doctor you can trust. If you do not trust your doctor - change . Another helpful hint is to bring a list of questions with you to your visit to the doctor - its easy to forget once you are in the consultation room. It is perfectly natural to be anxious during pregnancy - but it is up to the doctor to reassure you all is well. And remember there is no such thing as a dumb question - or why would you be asking it. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

It doesn't matter if you like your dr. IF he is a good dr otherwise and knows his stuff. If not then change to someone you feel more comfortable with. You can loose weight sometimes or different reasons but it's more normal to gain then loose. Make sure you eat, even if it's small meals and 6 or 7 a day like a sandwich or half a sandwich. Eat what's nurturitional. Drink plenty of fluid especially water so you won't dehydrate. Why are you stressed? If it's your pregnancy then worrying and being stressed won't help. Take time for yourself, relax, read a good book, (the Bible is the best) but do something to take your mind off of whatever is troubleing you.

Small amounts of weight loss is normal. I was gaining like crazy and havne't put on a pound in 3 weeks, and i know a few people who lost several pounds in the last two weeks before delivery.
As long as you are eating well and have a normal overall gain over the course of the pregnancy, you're probably fine.

I doubt it. Unless you're were thin to begin with or you aren't gaining enough weight. The stress on the other hand could be a problem. Stress in late pregnancy can lead to postpartum depression. I say that not to scare you, but because I went through it and I feel it is my mission to tell other women the warning signs.

You always have to consult a medical person BUT In my day, that was called "lightening". I always lost a couple lbs. right before I delivered. No it's not harmful. As long as you are eating healthy, the baby takes what he/she needs. You sound fine to me. Why are you stressed?? You should be exited , happy. You just got jitters. Good luck.

It's not harmful. If you drank a lot prior to your last visit or ate a meal, you could easily have had that extra weight factored into your overall weight. If you don't like your doctor though, I would suggest finding another one. Maybe even switch to an associate of your doctor if he has one you are comfortable with.

As long as the baby is growing then all is fine. I lost loads of weight due to the stress of a family bereavement but my son was growing fine. Your baby gets all the goodness before you do but if you really dislike and don't trust your doctor you may want to think of changing to another one.

I lost weight in the third trimester as well. My doctor told me that as long as my measurements were right on.. when they take the tape ruler and measure from your pubic area to the top of your uterus, everything is fine. If you were losing weight and your uterus was not measuring right, then they would want to do follow up testing. Your doctor must be confident that your measurements are still adequate or else he's be concerned. Hope this helps.

I actually did not gain any weight during my pregnancy I actually lost 8 lbs in the end. You might want to change Dr's now before the delivery...you need someone in charge that you can trust.
