I have Sky TV.
I currently have over 150 channels.
I dont care for how many there really are.

To make quality progams, like Attenboroughs "Planet Earth" or anything close, it costs a lot of money.

And not every channel has the budget - what with 60million people spread so thinly across the ratings - to make programs like this.

So to plump up between the sparsely spread quality programs is a vast number of cheap, "reality" shows when the stars aren't paid and only a journalist and a camerman need apply.

Then there are all the call-in gambling shows.

Basically, TV is rubbish because we, as a people, did not have the fore-sight to see the ramifications of demanding more channels for our buck.

I personally long for the days that we only had 4 Channels on TV. For they were glorious days indeed.

When i see programmes like that in the listings, I generally steer clear of them. There's plenty of other good stuff on TV to choose from, so my advice is if you don't like these "freakshow" type programmes switch to another channel or switch off. If nobody watches them, the broadcasters will soon catch on and will stop showing them.

I have just posted this as a thought. I believe that in order to force us into digital tv, they put the endless garbage of freakshows on tv daily/nightly.. Nothing gets missed, dogs out of homes, tv chefs, wannabe millionaires. It's a government ploy. They think we don't know what's going on.
Next one surely must be have your neighbours operation over five nights

I was going to bring up this subject myself lol....the only good thing that TV is used for is publicity, but I just don't get what is with the weird adverts today, but that's a totally different thing!

I don't really find it interesting watching stories about obesity sufferers but i guess that people suffering from it do. As for the other programs, watch them if you want to or don't watch them at all!

I definitely did not get of undertaking to observe those fits in contact so will possibly not have finished insights. Sehwag had no reason to withdraw his attraction, he replaced into interior of finished rights. It replaced into thoroughly in the spirit of the sport, what the batsman replaced into attempting to do replaced into not. no desire for a warning the two by way of the bowler. If the batsman does not choose to get out then stay in the crease. If it replaced into sparkling he replaced into working to make a run and then while observed that he could be out. will strengthen his palms that he has an harm then he ought to take transport of out. yet there is likewise income of the doubt, he unquestionably might have pulled some thing or genuine harm. If he's injured unlikely he will dive its stupid. Hussey isn't the variety of participant from his checklist who might attempt some thing humorous. he's a truthful participant. intentionally or accidentally bowlers shouldn't stand in the midsection. Batsmen ought to run to attain, so as that they ought to be off the pitch in the present day. i don't know what the circumstances have been, yet while bowler is on the pitch a rule must be made batsman shall not take transport of out. Bowlers must be of the pitch. Its batsman's appropriate not the bowlers. along with his palms on the hips what replaced into he doing status there in the 1st place? Umpires ought to admonish such bowlers in spite of who it particularly is. i don't know concerning something of the circumstances, inspite of the undeniable fact that it particularly is being stated Tendulkar did not even undertaking floor his bat. And with or devoid of Lee status there he might've been out. This regulation must be clarified now IMO regardless. That if bowler intentionally or accidentally stands on the pitch hindering the batsman. The batsman shall not take transport of out. I constantly hate that.

Because such shows are very cheap to make! The reason there is so much dross on TV is because everything is done on the cheap. I only watch the news and football these days.
