If you know what commutative means, switch the places of the two values and get the same answer it is easy to show subtraction is not commutative.

1) 5 - 3 = 2 Switch places 3 - 5 = -2 NOT EQUAL
2) 14 - 22 = -8 Switch places 22 - 14 = 8 NOT EQUAL
NOT Commuatative

Here you are with the examples:

5 - 3 = 2
-3 +5 = 2

Hence:

5-3 = -3 + 5

Another one:

7 - 11 = -11 + 7
-4 = -4

Substraction is conmutative.
