Really be serious it is done at half time Super Bowl,just about all videos,or most TV appearences. Why is there something I missing?

It's a stupid masculine, macho thing. on some primal level, a man's penis is the center of his masculinity. And by grabbing it you're saying, "This is mine. Look at how much of a man I am!" It's pretty stupid, I know.
it's not just rappers. Lots of rock stars, particularly those in the 60s and 70s, used to stuff their crotch with socks, fruit, etc. to make their.... stuff look bigger. It was just another way of saying, "Hey, look at this! Look at how manly I am!" They may not have grabbed it, but it meant the same thing.

that's a habit which you have and practiced for a protracted time. as long as you're actually not doing it publicly, there is objectively no harm executed. as a remember of actuality, that could be a self-comforting habit, like thumb-sucking. although, if the actuality that it motives you misery, then take it sluggish to give up it.

There is really no reason why, its just something they do, they have been doing this for years, I really think that the first singer I saw do this was Michael Jackson, maybe the rest are just trying to follow him.

They are just trying to garner some street 'cred.Ya see when the bangers were in prison they were not allowed to wear belts to hold their pants up so when they walk they have to grab their crotch to keep their pants up.
