Is 13-14 an okay age to get your belly button pierced? If i were to get my cartilage pierced, should I get it done at a place like piercing pagoda (sp?) or should like my mom do it, also, should i get it done by piercing gun or a needle?

11 or 12 is fine for your cartlidge. thats around the time i had mine done ( i am now 20) i would recommend letting a professional do it. i just got mine done with a gun which will be a lot less painful and cheaper than a needle. you just have to make sure to take good care of it because it gets infected easier than your ear lobe. for your belly button i would wait till around 16 or older. 13 or 14 seems to young and that you have to get done with a needle. that is also a peircing you have to take really good care of. good luck

I think 11-12 is fine for a cartilage piercing. I have two friends who both got their cartilage pierced when they were twelve. One of those friends is getting her belly button pierced this summer and she is almost fourteen. I think that you should wait to get your belly button pierced, though. I think 15-16 or 16+ is good for belly button.

I guess it would be okay, but i wouldnt recomment it, just because if it gets infected, it doesnt heal very well, but if your getting it regardless, maybe its' okay, but 13-14 might be better. for your belly button... mann, i wouldnt recomment that at all, but once agian, if it becomes infected, it hurts, and doesnt heal very fast. .. I would get your cartilage piercd at a place, just because then you can guarentee they did it right. I know people that have pierced their own lips before, but ended up taking it out because they did it wrong.

I think 11 12 is good. i got mine done at piercing pagota. They dont hurt that bad. Personaly I think getting your belly button pierced is grose.
