I am 38 weeks and started experiencing the same thing about 2 weeks ago. At first it was mainly at night when I rolled over in bed but one night got so bad I was in tears and could not walk. It has since dissipated some but is still there. If you place a pillow or two between your legs and pressed up against your pubic bone at night it tends to help. An ice pack on your pubic bone helps too just make sure that it is wrapped in a towel so you don't get too cold. Also it is easier to get up out of bed or off the couch if you have someone stand in front of you with their hands out palms up, you put both feet on the floor, your hands palms down on top of theirs and push down hard while you lift off the couch. As for the waddling, that gets worse as you get farther along no matter what. I have waddled since 7 1/2 months. My husband thinks its hilarious but the is nothing I can do about it.

OMG I have the same problem and it started at about 6 months. I'm now 7 months and it's STILL the same. I hate it! But my doctor did tell me it is normal it's the pelvic bone separating and all that mambo and the pressure from the growing baby. But it still makes me feel like a dumb a** having to waddle sometimes because the pain is so bad and having my husband help me out of cushioned chairs and what not. Sorry, I know it hurts. Good luck. I have found no relief from this symptom yet.

I have the same thing and i'm only 21 weeks pregnant. But i had to have a cat-scan done due to them thinking i had appendix issues. Well the pain i was experiencing was my Siatic Nerve (i think it's spelled like that). I guess it's a large nerve that runs from your lower back down into your thighs and can send pain to your groin area and be very painful in your lower back. I can barely walk when i get the pain down there. But other than that, i would think maybe just pressure from your uterus getting larger.

Don't just brush it off as normal unless the dr says so. I had "normal" pelvic pain during both of my pregnancies. Achey and sore when i stood up or walked even when i rolled over.
However, i have just learned about a disorder called SPD.
Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. It's real pain, not just aches. It can get worse if ignored. Do a search on it and ask your doctor if it's a possability.
In the mean time. Relax, stay off your feet or if you have to walk around do it as little as possible.
Here is a link for the Pelvic Partnership. They offer support and information on SPD. http://www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk/1152.html

I had the same problem, and it turns out it was my pubic bone separating. It is a normal occurrence in pregnancy, as it allows room for the baby to pass easier. My midwife suggested a pregnancy belt. I didn't end up getting one, but that might work. I also found it didn't hurt as bad when I slept with a pillow between my legs. Warm baths and Tylenol also helped. Swimming was a very nice way to get exercise for me, since the water took some of the pressure off of that area. I hope this helps you!
Good luck

It could either be your pubic bones widening to allow your baby to be born, or it could be the ligaments are stretching. It could also be that you are carrying the baby low and it rests there. We all get this. It isn't only you. I have that all the time now! I would tell your doctor at your next appointment just to be on the safe side, but I'm sure it's just one of the above mentioned things.

Use a pregnancy belt. You can find them at Motherhood Maternity stores for under 20 dollars. They work wonders.

that's a pulled muscle. i does no longer concern approximately it too plenty till it final for a pair of week entire, and then i might see the surgeon. I certainly have had kidney infections, and there is plenty extra to return alongside with it than purely soreness once you breathe. Kidney infections are many times observed with the help of vomiting, a burning sensation once you pee, and feeling such as you will possibly desire to flow once you do no longer, as properly as dizziness, headache, your physique feels susceptible and achy like once you have the flu, and you do no longer likely % to stand up because of fact of being so drained. i grew to become into admitted interior the medical institution while i grew to become into pregnant as I had one, and that i had to pass over Christmas and being with my daughter beginning her supplies on Christmas morning because of fact of one. i grew to become into so unhappy. i grew to become into in there for each week on IV medicine. good success.

The baby is being extremely active - it's all part of being pregnant............................ to ease the pain, lay down - by doing this the baby should be forced to move somewhere else.
