Like all good questions arising from schoolwork, the question in this case is part of the problem. The Cold War ran from (about ) 1947 to 1991. But you also mention the 1950's. So did you mean the 1950's, or the period 1947 to 1991? I know it's the teacher half the time who creates the confusion so I'm not blaming you, but it means I'll answer the question twice, once for each period.
In the 1950's the list is:
Soviet Union
Poland
East Germany
Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia
Czechoslovakia
Rumania
Hungary
Bulgaria
Yugoslavia
Albania
China
North Korea
Mongolia
North Vietnam
Cuba
If you take the entire period 1947 to 1991 then you need to add in the following:
Laos
Afghanistan (1978-1992)
Ethiopia (1974-1991)
Vietnam
Yemen (1969-1990)
Cambodia
Angola (1976-)
Mozambique (1975-1983)
Nicaragua
There is some debate as to whether Nepal or Cyprus should be added to this list, check it out for yourself.
And I suggest that you check all the dates, after all it wouldn't be your project if you didn't do some of the work.
***Edit***
Be careful (but never dismiss without doing your own checking) contributions which include the States that were created by the breakup of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, as they were - to my thinking - created AFTER the end of the Cold War.

In Europe you have the USSR, Hungary, East Germany, Poland, Romania, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Albania, Bulgaria. Now within the USSR you had several states which were 'united' under the simple title USSR: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Krygzstan, Georgia, Azerbajan, Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.
Rest of the world: well you'd have Cuba, China, Vietnam, North Korea, Lao. There's also 4 in Africa I think or at least there were for some time. Their name escapes me right now.

i dont exactly know which countries were communist, but i know the ones (in europe) that signed the warsaw pact with the USSR. This basically makes them communist because they were somewhat controlled by the soviets.....
here they are:
USSR, Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria
i think that is all of them..... there may be some in asia etc..

This sounds like a professor's challenge. Go to the University library and get a historic atlas for post WWII Europe and Asia. You may need the country names as they were included. Or he may be interested in the names as they came out in the nineties. There is one map that I have seen for that. There are still some countries included.

attempt no longer to imagine about it in words of volume. that is high quality that concerns to her. If she's staying with you, then what you're giving her is what she needs. i'm guessing her guy previous to you became strictly a sexual relationship and not a lot else. As women mature, they are going to usually comprehend that at the same time as sex is mandatory, that isn't any longer the biggest element of a relationship. you're gratifying her in extra important elements of her existence.

It varied considerably, because new ones formed during the time period, and some fell. I think you are looking for Warsaw Pact nations, try typing that in yahoo, you will probably get what you are looking for.
