So I have had 4 positive pregnancy test done, at home. Im a little concerned that I may be having ectopic or have ovarian cysts... both of these will make a test positive- Says so in the pamphlet that comes in the box! I have researched the symptoms of all three and they seem to have many in common... I have cramping and had some bleeding- discolored mucus (brownish color)
The soonest my dr could get me in is in two weeks.. Im an unconvinced that i am pregnant... What is a sure Way to tell?? How painful is an ectopic? Or Ovarian cysts??? Please worried here! Serious answers only

If you are worried then I would go to the ER and find out for sure. I have had two EP and can tell you that both were totally different. The first started out as brown blood and then by the 8th week I had really hard side pain. On my second I knew that I had to get to the doctor quickly but the doctor told me that this preg was normal. So when I started bleeding I got worried and again he told me that it was not an EP. Started with the side pain and immediately went to the ER and they told me I had a mass on my right fallopian tube but since the doctor told me that he saw the baby in my uterus they just gave me a referral to give to my doctor. Well when I went to the doctor he said it was a cyst. To make a long story short, I got a second opinion and my EP pregnancy was diagnosed and tried the shot but my tube eventually ruptured (it ruptured in the hospital thankfully but the pain was really bad that I was begging for drugs) and had to be removed. Bottom line go to the ER and don't wait because it can cost you later. Hopefully everthing works out for you and keep me updated.

an etopic pregnancy will show as positive on a home preg test,,I am not sure about cysts though (??) An etopic pregnancy is extremely painful ( I had one in 2002) I had heavy heavy bleeding for about a week (thought it was the period from hell !) and intense cramping that would come and go for the whole week...well, being the stubborn women that I am, I ignored the pain and chalked it up to a bad period. Well, my tube ruptured, I was hemorrhaging and I nearly died, I was rushed into emerg surgery, and that is the only reason I am here today....The moral of my story...SEE A DOCTOR NOW! Seriously, any bleeding whatsoever with a positive pregnancy test is a reason to see a Doctor at once. If you suspect an etopic pregnancy go straight to emergency, there is no time to waste.

I have had both Ovarian cysts and an ectopic pregnancy. Both are VERY, VERY painful. Severe cramping, little blood....they're both the same signs and symptoms. My advise would be to call your MD back and tell him what is going on, maybe they can get you in sooner or call you if someone cancels.

Make sure you don't insert ANYTHING into your vagnia for this could cause a rupture (if a cyst) and you could loss a large amount of blood.

They will have to have performed a blood experiment to examine if you are pregnant. Pregnancy explanations a hormone (hGC) to be published into your frame, and it may be detected in tiny quantities in a blood experiment (versus the fewer touchy urine experiment). If you might have an ectopic being pregnant, there will probably be cut down phases of the hormone, however it'll nonetheless be gift. A observe: Ectopic pregnancies are LIFE THREATENING and have to be handled instantly. If handled early ample, there are much less dangers for headaches that might rob you of long run fertility. Get a moment opinion, from an OB/GYN who will participate in exams to uncover out if it is a cyst or a being pregnant. If you are in ache, get to the medical institution instantly, as a ruptured ectopic being pregnant can intent inside bleeding. Either method, well success.
