I dont find any possibility of Bangladesh reaching the semi final stage. At the most they may be able to win one or two matches in the super 8.

While it's easier to write off Bangladesh as getting into the super 8s by luck, underestimating Bangladesh is flirting with danger. Over the past 18 months, the improvement from the former whipping boys of International Cricket has been remarkable. The inclusion of Abdur Razzak especially has been brilliant, for a country who 18 months ago feared there was no quality spin bowler beyond Mohammad Rafique, they have a solid batting line up, and a reasonably good bowling attack led by Mashrafe Mortaza, and backed up by Razzak. Remember 4 years ago, Kenya, a team who had no right to make the super 6 stage, ended up making the semi-finals, and while the political dilemmas of Zimbabwe assisted them, that doesn't diminish that achievement. Bangladesh are unlikely to make the semi finals, but it wouldn't be out of the realms of possiblities.

I don't think so.......they have worked hard and improved but now in Super eight the competition would be even tough and the teams won't take it light and they would definitely give Bangladesh a tough fight........it can qualify for semi only by luck !
