First of all I will try not to be biased because i am persian(iranian).
No-one knows if they actually entered iranian waters the british say they didnt and the iranians say they did. In my opinion they did because if they didnt that would mean that the iranians entered iraqi water illigally, to be able to arrest them. And if they did enter iranian waters, yes i think they should be placed on trial, because if you think about it it is only fair.

The worst possible thing would be if there has been collusion between British and American governments to provoke Iran into a reaction that they could then use as an excuse for war. If they are planning war, then one would expect them to do something like this. Remember when the American fleet pushed into North Vietnamese waters to provoke a few measly torpedo boats to come out and attack them? That was the famous Tonkin Gulf incident that enabled the US to start carpet-bombing the North. Later it turned out it was all done deliberately to have an excuse to attack. But by that time the public had been deceived for years. Remember weapons of mass destruction? Hitler too convinced his masses it was right to attack Poland, because he had been "attacked" first. Later it turned out German troops had dressed in Polish uniforms and attacked a border post. And to read a lot of you here, you really are bellicose, too.
If it turns out it was not a staged incident, they should hand them back. If it was, they should hand them back even faster, to remove any excuse for an attack!

needless to say they did not. in basic terms people who don't understand technologies in any respect won't understand that their place could have been marked by way of GPS and be able to evidence previous doubt! on an identical time as there are disputes approximately in basic terms the place borders are because of the certainty that there are fairly some treaties their boat replaced into no the place close to a disputed border of any description. The British government to their credit are doing what they are able to to % this by using international kin yet on the top of the day the Iranian action in taking photos the adult adult males replaced into an open act of conflict! they have compounded that by way of refusing to rerspect worldwide regulation and the geneva convention by way of refusing consular get admission to. What they are unquestionably doing is underlining that they seem to be a rogue united states of america which ignores worldwide treaties and responsibilities and subsequently the final united states of america on earth that must be allowed the potential of possessing a nuclear weapon!! The Iranians ought to have their heads buried in the sand nevertheless - All their neighbours are procuring a great number of sophistacated weapons to take care of themselves against Iran and who's familiar with consistent with possibility thinking they could at last ought to bypass in and end the Terrorist chief of the country. Thew US must be guffawing up it rather is sleeve in any respect the palms revenues it particularly is making because of the fact of Irans posturing!! yet evaluate - some sailors and marines are suffering on the 2d however the final public of Iran stay in concern and an excellent variety of in poverty because of the fact the country keeps dropping it rather is funds on conflict and merchandising terrorism!

First off they were not in Iranian waters. This is just a ploy by the Iranians to get some press. If I were Tony Blair, I'd say you have 48 hours to turn over our citizens or you won't have to worry about the IAEA anymore,

The Iranians have no right to kidnap British servicemen/women and then try them. It is the Iranians who should be tried.
Sometimes i think that Iran wants to start a war.

They entered Iranian waters when they were illegally dragged there by iranian thugs. We should send 15 tomahawks over to ahmaweeniejob's bath houses each day until they are returned.

The British Sailors , need to be released now. Iran can tell them and warn them about this ever happening again, but Iran needs to ferry these men back to their ship. I firmly believe Iran will release the men/woman, but not for a few weeks. So we need to remain cool.

From what I've heard, they were in disputed waters. The Iranians should have left them alone, though, but they always like to poke the grizzly bear and then claim they did nothing wrong.

Were you there?
Then you don't know 'whose' waters they were in.
This is the Iranian allegation not proven, and I don't think you'll find too many witnesses that are independent.
As possession is 9/10th's of the law our people are in a sticky situation, let us hope our politicians have the gumption to think before they act.
