Yes. That video was for Its Gonna Be Me, and they are attatched by strings as marianettes. Also, in the same video they are in boxes at the supermarket as dolls. LOL. What a stupid video, but I love that song.

There was a video called It's Gonna Be Me when they were puppets but I don't know if that is the video you were thinking about or not.

Why for the love of god do I know this...It's "Bye Bye Bye".. In that video they were like puppets, then they where in packaging like action figures.
