this all depends. was it wax or pencil. if it was wax put a tea towel on the top and iron. just a little tip...if she uses wax crayon on the wall get the hairdryer heat the wax then wipe off, ive not tried it myself but bin told it works.

If the fabric is safe to be ironed, (cotton is good, polyester not so much) lay a piece of white paper over the crayon and iron the paper on the cotton setting. The wax will melt and be absorbed into the paper.

De-Solv-it. Spray it on, and wipe it off with a dry rag, then take remaining crayon residue with a wet rag and crayon is gone. This is great stuff to have around the house. And can be used for a lot of other things.

you could try getting some absorbent fabric/paper and placing it over the crayon. Then use your iron on a low heat to try and melt the wax crayon, which should then be absorbed into your cloth.

Use your iron over some brown paper/greaseproof paper, hot enough to lift the crayon but not too hot that it will melt the glider.

if its a wax crayon there are two methods, put a towel over it and a bag of ice on top, this sets it hard so you can peel it off, or try ironing over it to warm it up, then peel off

iron over a piece of blotting paper at a very low heat 110C to absorb as much as you can then spray with vanish spray and do the same again, keep going until its gone.

WD40 (a bit like the oil you'd use on hinges etc) or hairspray works on walls!
