Your best bet is to take it to a computer shop. They can then connect your hard drive in your laptop and they can move any n ecessary files to a different media (CD, Flash Drive etc)

You can take the hard drive out of the notebook and put it in a different notebook and boot up in SAFE mode so you don't get a million hardware warnings. Then you can copy off your files. Then, take the hard drive out and hold onto it.

You can get the files off the hard drive by hooking your hard drive up to another computer and then saving them to a disk, etc.

Your computer is pretty worthless without the motherboard. Save your hard drive and RAM for your new computer.

Yes, take the hard drive out of the computer. Find a similar
Dell Laptop and swap hard drives temporarily.

You'll have to remove the hard drive and connect it to another PC. Shouldn't be much of a problem. You might have to get an appropriate connector cable to do it though.

you will need to remove your harddrive (since that is where your data is actually stored) and add it to a different machine (as a 2nd drive, not as the primary drive) and then copy and paste your files off etc...

It's also a good idea to once a month burn your files onto a DVDR or CDR..
