I delete it as soon as possible....
don't want incriminating evidence sitting around waiting to be found by inquiring eyes.

If you have AIM 6.0 then go to actions at the bottom of your buddies list. Then show logs. There is also a way through My Documents. Go to AIMlogger then click on your screen name then IM Logs then pick the one you want to look at.

You check your archives. its right in the top menu of the main window. click on archives and then click on the name of the person you want to read your past message history with.

if it's by a person you were previously chatting with press F3 on the keyboard
if it's by everyone you have had a chat with, click on the conversations tab, hit prefernces, and select the save all my messages options.

Click on the messenger tab and on the drop down menu click on preferrences, then click on archive. You can set the option to either save them or not save them.
