You will have to read your lease agreement to see if you have a defined right to do that within so many days. If it doesn't say anything you are at the mercy of the landlord. They do not have to let you back in. If they have already rented the unit you will probably be out of luck. If they haven't, and you have been a good tennant they might let you stay.
