Cameron will be another Blair, just as Blair became the worst of Thatchers. You Americans too have had your share of evil self-serving bigots detatched from the people. Something has to change. It's our world - not their playpen!

Perhaps we need a People's charter - a modern Magna Carta to stem the power of selfish, arrogant, mindless puppets of greed and the New World Order.

tyrus: It's very similar in the Uk - except only the police and criminals have access to guns, the rest of us are walking victims.

jilliohs: Hi. Surely a web site would be easier and cheaper to establish than a newspaper. If only someone would do it. I'm sure they wouldn't want for contributors.

One possible remedy - the Public start their own newspaper!
They write about the kind of society they want, the expose the bs., & they collectively form one massive body, to lobby, to vocalise dissatisfaction, to do polls etc. Or, along similar lines, the Public could form their own Union? Something like that could really groups EG. senior citizens who can't afford the Community Charge Tax. Give 'em a voice, I say!
Politicians would have to take notice then, wouldn't they?

What makes something noted as something. somebody got here up with a acceptance for people and now we jointly call ourselves people (so some distance as English is in contact). How are we diverse from different issues? we seem diverse, we've diverse genes, we've diverse applications, and a few might say we won the breath of existence from God. What makes us human in the eastern way of thinking? A human that conforms to the societal norms. Even the bible says you're a beast in case you provide your self as much as sin.

I think Alex Salmond would do a good job for you, but you dont like the Scots in power so a full blown SNP government for the UK would be a bit controversial but there ideals are sound.

I regret to say that our situation regarding our hopes of leadership that will actually support our constitution is looking extremely grim, so to speak, thus it appears to me that unless an intelligent patriotic politician with integrity steps forward soon, "We The People" just might have to take matters into our own hands, and I only say this for reason that I, as well as many millions of hard working US citizens are sick-n-tired of voting for the "Lessor Of Two Evils"

Apathy isn't the answer - it seems to me that there's too much of that at the moment.
Politicians must be made to be more accountable for what they do or don't do "in our name".
As far as answers go one way or another it has to be the people.

that you have never heard of. because their voice was too small, or they were persecuted into submission.you know they cant fool all the people all the time, but they make it look like they do

It can only be done by the voters. Educate the voters and maybe the politicians will be forced to serve us once again.
