You will see a black rubber duct (kinda like a Dryer Duct) going from the air filter canister or box to the Throttle opening at the intake.When you undue the clamp holding the duct on, look inside and you will see the 'Throttle' plate.It is like a restrictor for the amount of air coming into the engine.More than likely you have a 3.0 Engine.A TBS 'Throttle Position Sensor' is mounted on the outside of the housing and it measures how far the throttle plate is open .The wider it is open, the more air is allowed into the engine and the ECM makes adjustment to the timing and fuel for acceleration and deceleration.These engines are fuel injected individually at each cylinder.

Right under the hood. It's in the carburetor. It's probably the tallest thing under your hood.

if your car doesn't have a carberator then their is not throttle its electronic

it's positioned by the computer....you need to have it put on a diagnostic computer
