I believe that there is a hell, and it is called regret.
Any guilt you feel during your life for not having shown enough love to a family member before they died is an unbearable regret. That is hell.
Also, the regret you feel at your own death...that is hell...knowing you cannot go back to change anything you have done or NOT done.
I don't know if heaven exists. I don't believe that Peter is standing at a big gate with a list of who's been naughty and nice, and I don't believe that men will be treated to 40 virgins when they die. I also don't believe that people are reincarnated.......but I DO believe that you should do good things, be a good person, and make amends if you have hurt someone in the past.
Why should humans be good ONLY because it is written in a religious book somewhere that you have to be good? Why not just be good anyway? It is sad that any society needs to have moral rules spelled out for them. They should just know those things.

If you believe in god and the bible than you should also believe in heaven and hell. There are so many religions out there that believe different things that are wrong. For example "there is no heaven, and god will come back after everyone is dead and pick 144,000 people to live in a "heaven on earth" but that is not so. Anyone who believes that Jesus was born, lived, and was tortured and died for every ones sins so that we can go to heaven when we die and sincerely asks god for forgiveness can go to heaven. If you don't know how to do that, all you have to do is close your eyes and start asking Jesus to come and live inside you heart.Don't wait until it is too late, if you don't sincerely ask for forgiveness than you will go to hell, no if's and's or but's.
After that I Encourage you to find a church family to belong to to. I hope anyone who is reading this, that isn't saved makes the right choice before it is too late. Good deeds don't get you into heaven your belief in Jesus Christ is what saves you from hell

no...The problem with the concept of heaven and hell is that they are portrayed as actual places. Heaven and hell are a state of mind. Take careful note of the emotions that are conveyed in each place. Heaven is associated with happiness and perfection while hell is associated with suffering, evil, and chaos. Looking at the world, all things are neccessary for the balance in life. If God has a master plan, then God is responsible for all the good and the evil in the world. You cannot have one without the other and strike a harmonious balance in life.

I do think that there is a Heaven but I don't want to believe that there is a Hell, although there might be.

Most definitely. And I also believe you can know which one you're going to. If you trust Jesus Christ to be your Savior, believing He died on the cross & rose again, you go to Heaven. If you don't believe it, you go to hell. I know some people won't like this answer, but I am sharing my beliefs as stated in the Bible, God's Word.

I don't. At least I don't believe they are places. I believe they are mind sets. Places that were made up by humans so that people would fight being inherently bad/evil. I think if you feel you did what you were supposed to when you were alive you will go to heaven in your mind. You will rest happily wit a good conscience.
I don't believe a good answer to this would be quoting the Bible. I hate when people try to prove religion by quoting a book written by a man.
