The only amendment they will quote you all day long is the first one.... they use it to cover:

Porn, gay rights, use of drugs, child sex..... the list will go on and on.

They think all the rest dont apply to them.... well, maybe the fourth?

Right to hide, harbor and conceal Porn, gay rights, drugs, child sex.

No need to elaborate, I know what you're talking about. It's funny yet almost scary how hypocritical the left actually is. Virtually anyone you hear talk about how George Bush is "ruining" the Constitution is probably talking about the Patriot Act. Unless you actually are some sort of terror cell leader, I get the feeling that Bush isn't all that concerned with your private doings on the internet. How about the raping of the Constitution by Democrats? Instead of enforcing the law the way it was written, they've altered it much that our legal system is plea-bargaining felonies for misdemeanors thanks to Lyndon Johnson and company (think his "Great Society"). Or how about instead of actually allowing people to own guns for self-defense as the second amendment clearly states, the left would like to see stricter gun control. For as much as I hear about "free speech", I find it funny that I can offend someone now for saying something they "disagree" with. They can call me whatever they want, but if I "offend" them, then the free speech rule seems to not apply. Basically, they can offend me but I can't offend them. Not only are they hypocrites when they whine about Bush signing the Patriot Act into law, but now on top of trying to alter it themselves, they seem to think that it's something which can be used in their favor whenever they like. It's a joke.

Because they would not be able to manipulate and control the ENTIRE (legislature, executive, and judicial branches) government IF THEY FOLLOWED THE CONSTITUTION. They are now using the lower courts and left wing judges to impose their will on the majority. They are trying to conduct foreign policy (the president's responsibility) by passing bills in congress that have pork barrel spending and specific withdrawal (cut & run) times attached to moneys intended to supply our military in Afghanistan and Iraq.

First lets call it what it really is, COMMUNISM.

It is the stated goal of the communist party to destroy our constitution and our economy. They have worked long and hard on dividing America, putting us into little classes so we are no longer individuals. Collectivism at its finest.

The link below is the democrats game plan that they have faithfully followed for over 60 years. Read and tell me if they have not followed it to the letter.

Your question is moot. Examples would help-- you simply throw out a nonsensical question. Of course the Left follow the constitution. So does the right. There are always those who will try to stray away from it though or interpret for their own benefit.

The 'lefts' have it - I mean the 'brains' have it.The right is really an inappropriate word to describe so-called Republicans, especially these days. The one with their 'head in the sand' is you! 'Nuff said.

The main thing the Congress is guilty of is no real oversight on the Adm. like they could be doing(a little bartering instead). If American citizens sit by and continue to watch these breeches of contract we will get what we deserve.

"The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government -- lest it come to dominate our lives and interests."

Why is my head in the sand when my civil liberties are under attack by the neo-conservatives?
Why is it a crime to denounce what a person feels is wrong?
Either in government or otherwise...

I suggest that you take an actual look at the so-called Patriot Act!
