Clearly, us Americans think we live in the best country in the world. But I'm wondering whether someone in the UK or Australia think that their country is also best. What do you guys think? Any references to studies or articles on the subjet would be greatly appreciated.

What you are referring to is nationalism, which has been the cause of both of the world wars and practically all the others throughout history. During a war, nationalism is promoted in order to help the war effort. remember Uncle Sam? America is not the only country with citizens who think that their country is the best. You can trace this ideology back to the roman empire where they used it to try and extend their reach across the globe. I don't know get a history book and look up the great war or for those military wantabe's world war one. It's called nationalism if you think your country is better then anothers okay.

my family has been in countries were all they ever want is to come to amaerica because there contry sucks but then they have been to others where they like there country like england iraland scotland greenland canada

if they are doing so it's maybe they're in competition or maybe they are proud of their country if they have never travel for other place they don't know others' country beauty.
