The earth's axis and apogee and perigee in solar orbit is on a cycle of about 180,000 years. For each cycle there is warming periods and cooling periods. We are in what scientists define as an interglacial period most notably defined by maunder maximum. Solar output also plays a part in "mini ice ages" the 1400s were marked by a cooling period in the northern latitudes. prior to that the medieval warm period was marked with temperatures much higher then present, and prior to that a period pre-stone known as the holocene when the temp was substantial warmer.

There are 2 major ice ages known, the current ice age and the Permian Ice Age (about 250 million years ago). There is a speculative ice age around 600 million years ago known as snowball earth (first link).
Within an ice age, there are highs and lows that have cycles on the order of tens or hundreds of thousands of years.
Remember, if there is a continent on the pole, there is probably continental glaciation, and therefore we are STILL in an ice age (see 2nd link).

"returned?" The Earth's axis has continuously been tilted. that's the reason we've seasons. The _direction_ of that tilt differences slowly over a 26,000 300 and sixty 5 days era, called precession of the equinoxes, which has been nicely-known for hundreds of years. The ice an prolonged time weren't led to via differences in the lean of the Earth's axis, and no geologist believes that they are over. besides the shown fact that it takes extra advantageous than 1000 years for the climate to alter that appreciably. regardless of you're writing, it is not English. English makes use of apostrophes in possessives like "Earth's axis," and commas between clauses. It makes use of capital letters to start sentences and does not randomly capitalize words in direction of sentences that are actually not ideal nouns. It by no skill starts a sentence with "and." It does not incorporate words like "OMG" and does not use "all caps."

An ice age would mean that no human life or warm blooded mamals could survive freezing. Since most primitive man did not have the techology to survice freezing to death & without vegetation for food, if there everwas such an age we would not exist in the present day as humans. May be as prehistoric remains of Humans with no progeny.
So how many times can the earth have an ice age with humans in it ?=One time and one time only leaving a trail of frozen stiffs.

Its a cycle that lasts for ~200, 000 years and starts over again. At least thats what has been going on for the last several million years.

Once every 50,000 years. This is based on REAL evidence that the poles change every 50,000 years and the Earth apparently starts spinning in the opposite direction.

It depends how you interpret the data, but this article should answer all your questions:

It's very well documented with many sources.
