Monica Goodling, a Justice Department official involved in the firings of federal prosecutors, will refuse to answer questions at upcoming Senate hearings, citing Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination, her lawyer said Monday. This is the new American way and most know this is the Bush way.

Too bad those two Border Patrol Agents who caught an illegal w/$1 mil of drugs and got 10-12 yrs in prison didn't get the same benefit-oh not a friend of GWB sorry.

I think it's great. Let the Democrats preen for the TV cameras, in full McCarthy mode, while their victim just sits there and says nothing.

Considering Libby is going to prison though he was not responsible for the leak of Plame's name, why should anybody choose to speak under oath in a witch-hunt?

This is a political witch-hunt based on baseless accusations against the Bush administration. The sooner you people understand this and reject witch-hunt show-trials, the better off we all are.

The US government does not stand for honor anymore. The fish rots at the head. Honor won't come back until we clean House and I include Dems in that too.
