I am using the new jergens natural glow daily moisterizer and it works pretty good. I am using the color for medium skin becasue I am not really white but not tan. It really does not give me a lot of color. I was wondering if I could use the color for tan skin in order to acheive a darker look. Will it look too dark if it is not meant for my skin.Any ideas? Thanks you

I use it too and I really like it...I am pretty pale but had to move up to the darker shade, it still doesn't look fake and does a better job so I say go for it.......!!!!

Our skin tone sounds pretty similar. I consider myself "beige" because I have olive undertones and am not truly fair (fair to me is very light/white complected). I'd go ahead and try the Medium/Tan! I'm thinking of doing the same thing but hesitated because, like you, I thought it would be too dark. Right now the I'm using the Jergens in Medium too and it's great, but for summer, I'd like to be a little darker. Maybe just use it every 2nd or 3rd day once you achieve the skin tone you want.

I'm very fair and in the summer I like to use a self-tanner (Neutrogena) on my legs in a medium. Then, I keep it up with a daily "glow moisturizer". I think the only way you will know if something will really work for you is by trying it. Took me a long time before I got my "formula" just right. Just buy a good brand. I also like the tan-towels from home shopping channels. Godloveya..bet you look lovely!

I was using it for about 10 days, until I had an allergic reaction to it lol. But I used the one for darker skin tones thinking the same thing that you are, and nothing bad happened. I got a lot darker in the 10 days I used it. I'm not sure if it works differently because I never trued the other one.

I normally have fair skin, and I used the one for fair skin, then after the bottle was empty I switched to the one for medium skin, and I had no problems. It works gradually so you don't really have to worry about looking to dark or orange. You may try applying the darker one every other day in stead of everyday to keep it more natural looking.

I would say yes, go ahead and try the darker one. If you dont like the results you can stop using it. The color doesn't last very long from those self tanners anyway. Good luck.

If you've given the one you're using enough time to do it's thing, and it's not dark enough, I say Go For It! Use the next darker shade. It can't hurt you. Just take it slow.

ummm..you could try it.You won't know till you try.But instead of doing it daily try every other day like do it one day then skip the next then do it again then skip the next you get it.So incase you dont over do it it really could help you get a lil tanner like you want it.Or ask a skin doctor to be sure.

you could try the darker bottle. i think it will give you just the right amount of color, just don't over-apply.
