Where can I get an honest appraisal for my very old records?

an appraisal indicates that you might already have a buyer and you might be wishing to set the right price or that you might be wishing to insure them. like most collectables, a lot will depend on the quality of the records[scratches,etc] one that is new will be worth more than one that looks terrible. then a collectors item such as the original first sun record "mystery train" by Elvis Presley or buddy holly's "that'll be the day" should be expected to bring more than a one-hit wonder. e-bay is a good site to view for current auctions but you can also find the previously sold auctions down the left hand column and review what actual sales occurred. as a collectable though records [45s at least] dont accrue well.
