Is it just me or is yellow gold going out of style??

it does seem that way...silver, white gold, and platinum are more modern and go with just about everything, where as gold jewelery matches warmer, earthy tones. i mean gold is gold!!! wear what ya got!

Yellow gold is a classic and will never go out of style. You'll see it a lot on older women and women who don't have pale skin since it compliments the skin tone better. Plus, yellow gold is much less of a hassle than white gold since you don't have to get it re-plated every year.

Jewelry is like fashion, you should never wear something just because you think it is in style. You should wear what looks good on you. My best friend has dark hair and olive skin, she looks great in silver and white gold, where as I have reddish blonde hair and pail skin, I look good in gold. If you wear something just because you think it is in style yet it looks bad on you then you will look like you have no taste.
I have noticed a trend in silver and white gold with the younger crowd, but this is just a fad, it will change sooner or later. People are always a slave to fashion and make silly mistakes.

Go with white gold for sure, if not than platinum.... just not yellow gold

WHITE GOLD!! Definately. Its more classy, its worth every cent you pay for it and yellow gold is starting to not be in these days,so definately white gold.Rose gold is gorgeous too!

personally i don't like yellow gold. i think it messes with skin tones. i like white gold much better.

I agree that yellow gold is going out of style.
It's just harder to match with. :)
More people have plain silver jewellery, which matches better with white gold.
