I had an IUD once and it stopped my periods completely until it was removed, I had another put in 4 weeks ago. I started cramping really bad on Saturday, had some yucky looking pink stringy discharge. Then last night I had some ever yuckier looking gray discharge, now I'm having bright red bleeding. Has anyone else ever had this? I've never had anything like this before. Any answers would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sadly, that's how the IUD works. You better get to your doctor in case of infection.

i currently have an iud and having problems with it. I have had all the same problems as you. Severe cramping mostly. All i can tell ya is talk to your dr he's the only one that can give you the correct answer for your situation....i am having mine changed next week...maybe i'll get the one that stops periods instead of making it worse.

You need to go to the doctor. Dont wait. You could have serious health problems related to this IUD. At least call the doctor

Get off the coumputer and get yourself to the doctor. This could be dangerous and even casue an infection that could affect your fertility when you do decide to get pregnant.
