I lost the stone from my engagement ring (given in 1988) in 2003 and it was the original from a solitaire setting. When I told my hubby, I was devastated.!He was out one night with friends and told them what had happened. Someone nearby overheard and told him that he was amazed that I had it intact for that long, as many women lose the stones much earlier. He told my hubby to come and see him! He offered to give my husband a deal on a new ring, or replacement stone. He showed several new ones too my hubby and, ultimately my hubby picked one that was nearly identical too his own mothers ring. I got it for Christmas that year (03'). It is the best present to me because my hubby passed away in 2005 from cancer and he shared all the reasons behind selecting this ring. My hubby's mom also passed away from cancer in 1991! He put alot of thought into this!!

My son has autism, and it took a long while before he spoke in complete sentences. Anything I could do to get his attention and make him laugh, I did.
He was into Sesame Street, and he enjoyed watching/hearing the songs. I sang him the Alligator King song one time on the way home from day care.
He finished it. Longest sustained verbalization I'd ever gotten out of the kid.
Yes, I cried.

A casual acquaintance gave me a good quality electric keyboard and computer software lessons. About 2 weeks later we had an argument and haven't spoken since. Talk about feeling guilty.

My boyfriend bought me an ipod.
It meant alot to me b/c before giving it to me, he had downloaded songs that he knew I liked and meant alot to me into it first.
